Δρ. Ιάκωβος Φαντίδης

Επίκουρος Καθηγητής

Ο Δρ. Ιάκωβος Φαντίδης, έλαβε το πτυχίο, το μεταπτυχιακό και το διδακτορικό του (όλα με υποτροφίες) από το τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Δημοκριτείου Πανεπιστημίου Θράκης το 2003, το 2005 και το 2010 αντίστοιχα. Εργάστηκε ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στο ΤΕΙ Καβάλας (2005 – 2015) και ως ερευνητής σε 7 ερευνητικά επιστημονικά προγράμματα. Κατόπιν εργάστηκε ως Ηλεκτρολόγος Μηχανικός στο Διαχειριστή του Ελληνικού Δικτύου Διανομής Ηλεκτρικής Ενέργειας κατά τα έτη 2015 – 2017. Από το Δεκέμβριο του 2017 – σήμερα είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών του ΤΕΙ Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας και Θράκης. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στον τομέα των μη καταστρεπτικών ελέγχων κυρίως με τη χρήση ραδιογραφίας και θερμογραφίας, στη μελέτη ενεργειακών συστημάτων, στη χρήση πυρηνικών ακτινοβολιών καθώς επίσης και στη θωράκιση αυτών. Στα αντικείμενα αυτά έχει δημοσιεύσει περισσότερες από 50 επιστημονικές εργασίες σε διεθνή περιοδικά και συνέδρια.
