Δρ. Νικόλαος Βορδός

Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής – Πρόεδρος Τμήματος

Ο Δρ. Νικόλαος Βορδός είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής του Τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών Τ.Ε. του ΤΕΙ Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας και Θράκη. Είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Ηλεκτρολογίας του ΤΕΙ Καβάλας (2003). Το 2008 απέκτησε Μεταπτυχιακό Τίτλο Σπουδών από το Διατμηματικό Μεταπτυχιακό του ΔΠΘ “Οργάνωση και Διοίκηση Τεχνικών Συστημάτων. Το 2018 ανακηρύχθηκε διδάκτορας του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Δημοκρίτειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θράκης. Το 2012 έλαβε δίπλωμα στις Μεθόδους Σκέδασης Νετρονίων για Έρευνα Νετρονίων από το Ινστιτούτο Ενεργειακής Τεχνολογίας του Όσλο, Νορβηγία. Το χρονικό διάστημα 2012 – 2015 έλαβε πιστοποιήσεις στην χρήση επιστημονικού εξοπλισμού αιχμής (XRD, AFM, Nitrogen & Mercury Porosimeter, Bioengineering –MVN Biomech, κα)

Διαθέτει εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία τόσο σε προπτυχιακά, όσο και σε μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα σπουδών από το 2007, ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 10 ερευνητικά προγράμματα (Εθνικά και Διεθνή) και διαθέτει επαγγελματική εμπειρία πλέων των πέντε ετών. Είναι κριτής σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά και διαχειριστής του επιστημονικού περιοδικού JESTR του ΤΕΙ ΑΜΘ.

Τα επιστημονικά ενδιαφέροντα του εστιάζονται στον εμβιομηχανικό χαρακτηρισμό νανοδομημένων υλικών, στην νανοτεχνολογία με έμφαση στην ιατρική και στην μοντελοποίηση υβριδικών συστημάτων. Τέλος, έχει περισσότερες από 35 δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά με κριτές και περισσότερες από 15 ανακοινώσεις σε συνέδρια με κριτές.
